THE SEASON’S MOST GLAMOROUS RACE DAY

On Sunday 18th June, Chantilly racecourse will host the 174th edition of the Prix de Diane Longines, the most glamorous race day of the year. This unforgettable event will be punctuated with a host of festivities: an outstanding concert by singer-songwriter Adé to start proceedings, the eagerly-awaited chic picnic, the famous elegance contest, numerous surprises in Diane’s Village and, of course, a major race for fillies. Chantilly racecourse is an idyllic setting for this unique event.

HIGH POINTS OF THE PRIX DE DIANE LONGINES EVENT

  • 12 NOON-1PM – Concert by singer-songwriter Adé on stage

The festivities at the Prix de Diane Longines always begin with a live concert. This year, it is young artist Adé who will take to the stage in Diane’s Village, from 12 noon (concert access is included in all tickets to the racecourse).

  •  Chic picnic and its must-have hatbox hamper, with a menu created by Maison Ladurée

The most eagerly-awaited picnic of the season will bring hundreds of people together on the racecourse’s lawns to enjoy a rustic lunch served in a must-have accessory: the superb hatbox hamper, whose menu   has been created this year by Maison Ladurée.

  • 400 entrants expected in the Elegance Contest  

The Prix de Diane Longines goes hand in hand with its traditional Elegance Contest, which will be won by one of the four hundred stylish women on the racecourse. All of the ladies present may enter, and no advance registration is necessary.

Former Miss France and presenter Sophie Thalmann will have the difficult task of choosing the winner, who will be rewarded with the official watch of the 2023 Prix de Diane Longines, which comes from the new Longines DolceVita X YVY line.

  • SO MANY SURPRISES IN DIANE’S VILLAGE

This year, the main attraction in Diane’s Village will be a superb 15-metre helter-skelter.  This is the first slide of its kind in France and is sure to delight racegoers of all ages. There are also plenty of other attractions in store, such as a colourful fabric maze.

The Village is also the place to go for some refreshments, with various options available.

  • 4.05PM: PRIX DE DIANE LONGINES, A MAJOR RACE FOR FILLIES  

The Prix de Diane Longines, a legendary race that is run over a distance of a mile and 2 ½ furlongs and is reserved for the best 3-year-old fillies in Europe, is the high point of the day’s sporting schedule.

Before the race, the entrants will parade along the course with their jockeys.
