Depending on how you use the application, we will process the following data:

Technical data: unique identifiers used to install the application, technical identifiers for push notifications, version of the app, OS, device brand/model, IP address, error/diagnostic logs

Browsing data when the application displays WebViews of France Galop’s websites (schedule, lives, replays) and francegalop‑live.com (tickets): These websites can deposit/read trackers (cookies, SDK) according to their own policies.

Games/competitions (e.g. Qualifio forms): the login data and contact data entered (name, email, etc.) and any answers given in games/competitions.

Tickets: If you purchase tickets, your data is mainly processed via francegalop‑live.com (see its specific policy).

Store: If you purchase any products, your data is processed via boutique-france-galop.com (see its specific policy).

Push notifications: If you accept, we will process a token (Apple/Google) in order to send you notifications about France Galop news.

Social media (“Follow us!” links): When you open these services, they receive data in accordance with their own policies.

We do not require you to register for an account in order to access the application’s main content.

Please remember that, in the event that the application grants access to third-party services, these services should be used within the framework of their own privacy policies.

We use the personal data we have collected for the following purposes:

Access to your data is restricted to those who need to know it, that is:

• Our technical sub-contractors, including:
  • Fragolabs SAS, who take care of the application’s development, maintenance and technical operation
  • Qualifio, who supply our games platform
• The service providers we use to set up competitions on the application.
• The service providers we use to broadcast videos live or on replay (video players and broadcasting networks): they receive technical data in order to deliver the stream.
• Social media: when a link/share is opened, these platforms are separate processing managers.
• The app stores(Apple/Google) and operational systems act as separate processing managers for their own services (notifications, app distribution, detecting misuse).

Some service providers operate in countries outside the EEA (e.g. United States). In this case, if an adequacy decision has not been adopted for the country in which the service provider is based, we will put in place the appropriate guarantees (standard contractual clauses from the European Commission).

5. DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Different retention periods apply for different purposes:

• Installation/analytic identifiers:a maximum of 13 months for audience measurement (in accordance with CNIL practice for trackers), then the data is made anonymous/aggregated.
• Security & diagnostic (crash) logs:6 months (security), 3 months (undefined crashes), then aggregated.
• Push notifications (tokens): providing you do not refuse them, after a maximum of 3 years’ inactivity.
• Games/competitions:6 months after closure (except for winners/legal requirements: up to 5 years).
• Tickets(via francegalop‑live.com): as per legal/accounting requirements (up to 10 years for accounts).
• IP for security purposes:maximum 12 months.

When the app is uninstalled, the local identifier is deleted.

6. RIGHT TO ACCESS AND AMEND

In accordance with the current legislation, as the owner of your personal data, you have the following rights:

The right to access, amend, erase, restrict, oppose and/or transfer your data, and the right to give instructions as to what should happen to your data after your death.

You may revoke your consent at any time (without retroactivity):

• For push notifications: via your device settings (iOS/Android).
• For WebView trackers/cookies: via the banners and settings available on the websites concerned.
