Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere at the racecourse during the Christmas holidays!

Activities include (depending on the date): meeting Father Christmas, ski simulator, winter treats, a giant Christmas tree and decorations…plus a host of thrilling horse races! Entry is FREE for children under 12 and from just €3 for parents. Find out what’s in store now!

Father Christmas will visit Deauville-La Touques racecourse on Monday 23rd December. Bring your children along to meet him and take a souvenir photo!

Your children can post their Christmas list to Santa in a special letter box set up on the racecourse until 23rd December. Father Christmas will reply to all letters and a draw will be made, with a host of great gifts up for grabs. The prizes include a PonyCycle, the famous cuddly horse on wheels, annual season tickets to France Galop racecourses and a sack full of surprises!

The winners of the draw will be contacted by phone.

Deauville-La Touques racecourse has a surprise in store, in the shape of the Ski Fit 360 simulator!

Bring your children along for a skiing session on Friday 13rd, Saturday 14th, Monday 23rd, Friday 27th and Saturday 28th December 2024 and Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th January 2025.

Step onto your skis and glide down the snow-covered slopes as though you were there in person! This incredible simulator allows you to practise your skiing skills and attempt to achieve your personal best time over a World Cup slalom course.

Free activity, open to children over the age of 6.

Strike a pose and take home a photo of your family enjoying their day at Deauville-La Touques racecourse thanks to our special Christmas photo studio!

As a Christmas treat for your kids, a make-up artist will be on hand on Monday 23rd, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th December 2024 and Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th January 2025.

At the Deauville Winter Meeting, some of the races take place at half-night (gates open at 3.30pm), offering a unique visual experience thanks to the lighting installed on the Hippodrome’s fibre-sand track and the many Christmas lights displayed on the facades.

REFRESHMENTS

Pancakes, hot drinks…

Warm up with some delicious winter treats, such as pancakes, fresh pretzels hot sandwiches and hot drinks. All of these refreshments and more will be served in the Bar des Casaques until Thursday 19th December, then in stalls set up on the racecourse until Saturday 4th January.

The racecourse’s panoramic restaurant, La Toque by Barrière, is open during this Winter Meeting.
