Customising horseshoes
At the Farrier’s workshop, young apprentices are invited to give free rein to their creativity. Budding artists will be able to customise horseshoes with ribbons, glitter, ink stamps and lots of other surprises.
Children will be divided between several tables to create the most beautiful horseshoe, and will be able to take their work home with them.
A giant poster to colour
On each Family Racecourse Day, giant frescoes on the theme of horse racing will be available for children to colour in at the racecourses. Using coloured pencils, everyone can personalise the drawing.
The racecourse, a playground for young and old!
Alongside the horse races, there are plenty of activities on offer, including tic-tac-toe, dominoes and memory games, so you can make the most of the fresh air and greenery of the racecourse for outings with friends or family.

All year round, racecourses are the ideal place for a family outing in the great outdoors. Create wonderful memories with your family thanks to the many free activities for children and enjoy the spectacle of the races. Pony rides, merry-go-rounds, bouncy castles, sack races, puzzles to solve… there’s something for everyone! L’Hippodrome en Famille is aproxymately 30 dates in 2025 from March 30th to November 16th. Join us at Auteuil, Paris-Longchamp, Saint-Cloud, Chantilly or Deauville-La Touques for an unforgettable family experience!
