The Hippoclub is making a big comeback at the Auteuil Racecourse!
For the occasion, the Panoramic Restaurant will be transformed into a rooftop venue offering breathtaking views and a musical atmosphere created by cutting-edge DJ sets.
See you on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November from 12 noon! Access will be open to all holders of racecourse admission tickets, subject to availability. It’s another way to enjoy this great weekend of sport and a change of scenery at the Auteuil Racecourse, until 11:30 pm on Saturday and 9:30 pm on Sunday.

Hop on the merry-go-round for a magical ride on our beautiful carrousel horses. A sure-fire hit with young racegoers, this attraction is free of charge and children can ride as many times as they like.

With our bouncy castles, your children can jump, run and roll to their hearts’ content! We pull out all the stops to provide your children with plenty of opportunities to play and relax at the racecourse.

HORSESHOE DECORATING

At our “Blacksmith” workshop, young apprentices are invited to let their creative juices flow. The budding artists can customise horseshoes with ribbons, glitter, ink stamps and many other surprises.
The children will sit at a table to decorate their horseshoes and can take their creation home with them.

 

GIANT COLOURING POSTER

On every Family Race Day, a giant horse-themed poster will be laid out for the children. Using colouring pencils, the children are invited to help bring this poster to life.

48 hours of spectacular action

Two days of top-class sport

The 48H de l’Obstacle event features two consecutive days of top-class sport with 16 races on the programme, including 9 hurdles races and 7 steeplechase races. If you love a thrill, come and experience 48 hours of high-octane action on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November  2025!

This weekend includes five Group 1 races, the highest category of horse race: the Prix Serge Landon – Grand Prix d’Automne, the Prix Maurice Gillois – Grand Steeple-Chase des 4 ans, the Prix Cambacérès – Grande Course de Haies des 3 ans, the Prix Renaud du Vivier – Grande Course de Haies des 4 ans and the Prix La Haye Jousselin.

Save the date for a thrilling weekend at Auteuil racecourse!

Jumps races are some of the most spectacular events in the racing calendar. Every year, Auteuil racecourse hosts top-level races that are perfect for thrill-seeking racegoers.

Some of the most spectacular races to watch at the 48H de l’Obstacle are the Prix Serge Landon – Grand Prix d’Automne (3 miles and 16 hurdles) and the Prix La Haye Jousselin (3 miles 3 ½ furlongs and 22 obstacles).

HURDLES RACES
Hurdles races have a minimum of 7 obstacles for the horses to jump. These 7 obstacles, called  “hurdles” are all identical and are 1.10m in height.

STEEPLECHASE RACES
This discipline features various different obstacles (walls, water jumps, etc.) dotted around the course.
The obstacles in steeplechase races are higher and more difficult than the obstacles in a hurdles race. They vary from one race to the next, and also from one racecourse to the next.

    It’s time for the racecourse gates to open and the 100% free entertainment to begin!

  • 11.38 am

    It’s time for the weekend’s first race!

    Feel the thrill of horse racing from the edge of the course. A spectacular show suitable for all ages!

    The races are then run every 30 minutes.

  • 12.00 pm

    Feeling peckish?

    Enjoy a spot of lunch by choosing from the wide variety of refreshments available on the racecourse. From tasty raclette to creamy tartiflette, the mountain vibe is present even on your plate! You can also sip a hot drink as you watch the races and enjoy the free entertainment.

  • 03.00 pm

    It’s time for the children who signed up to challenge the jockeys in the paddock, watched by the spectators!

  • 03.30 pm

    Fancy an afternoon snack?
    Pancakes, waffles, sweets, roasted chestnuts…there’s something for all tastes!
    Treat yourself at our refreshment stands, which will satisfy even the sweetest of tooths.

  • 03.50 pm

    The HIGH POINT of the day, the Prix Serge Landon – Grand Prix d’Automne, a Group 1 race (the highest category of horse race). See you at the edge of the course!

  • 4.30pm

    It’s already time for the last race of the day… But there is still plenty of fun to be had, as the 48H de l’Obstacle continues until Sunday 16th November!

    Attractions close 30 min after the last race.

  • 5:00pm

    Head to the Hippoclub to continue this great day of celebration and sport with music!

  • 11:30pm

    Closing of the racecourse gates.

    A magical, sporty Sunday to enjoy with your family.

    Head to the food court and choose from a wide range of hot meals, such as tasty raclette and creamy tartiflette… There’s something for all tastes!

    The first race of the day begins.
    Races are then run every 30 minutes.

  • 02.35 pm

    In the paddock, children will parade alongside the jockeys before the first race.
    Head to the treasure hunt reception desk to sign up.

  • 03.35 pm

    It’s time for the Prix La Haye Jousselin, a rematch for the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris. 22 obstacles and 7 minutes of thrilling racing action!

  • 03.50 pm

    It’s time for the kids’ race on the course!
    What an honour for our young racegoers to step onto the hallowed turf trodden by racing’s top champions. Who will reign supreme?

  • 04.15 pm

    It’s time for the last race of the day.

    All that sport works up an appetite! If you fancy a quick snack, head to the food court , which is near to the paddock.

    Attractions close 30 min after the last race.

  • 5:00pm

    Head to the Hippoclub to continue this great day of celebration and sport with music!

  • 9:30pm

    Closing of the racecourse gates.
