Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe: a rendezvous with the world's greatest horserace!

On Sunday, 1 October 2023 (at 4.05pm) the world’s best racehorses will run in the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the world’s best horserace according to official ratings.

This historic challenge, which has excited the racing world for more than 100 years, will include equine champions that come from as far as Japan, England, Germany, Ireland and from various regions in France. The stakes are high, as the winner is considered the best horse in the world! These champions will compete in front of 35 000 spectators who have come from all over the world to encourage these fabulous horses with their cries from the ParisLongchamp stand.

The event will be broadcast live in 60 countries and about 250 international journalists will be at ParisLongchamp to report on the day’s action.

The Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend is part of the farewell tour of England based jockey Frankie Dettori who with 6 victories to his name is the most successful jockey in the history of this race. The many British and Irish racing fans who always flock to ParisLongchamp for this event will hence have another reason to cross the Channel!

A DJ will play music to ensure that the day will continue long into the evening.
