OH! Courses: A fun-filled day at Chantilly racecourse on 29 June 2024 – Free entry

On Saturday 29 June 2024, Chantilly racecourse is throwing open its gates for a family-friendly event called “OH! Courses”. Racecourse entry is free for all visitors. Watch nine flat races run from 3pm onwards, as well as three pony races ridden by budding jockeys.

In addition to the races, there will be a whole host of free entertainment rolled out all day long. It’s an ideal opportunity to discover horseracing in a convivial and fun atmosphere. Parking is also free for the day. The entertainment continues into the evening with a superb concert, so racegoers can dance the night away after the excitement on the course!

Do not miss this outstanding meeting on Chantilly racecourse, which promises an evening full of fun for the whole family. Come along to enjoy some superb racing action and free entertainment.

THE DAY'S SCHEDULE
  • 3.00pm

    The racecourse and refreshment areas open and the entertainment begins.

    General entry to the racecourse is free for children and adults.

  • 4.00pm

    First race (9 races scheduled over the course of the evening, every 30 minutes approx.).

    The pony races will be held in between and after the horse races.

  • 7.00pm

    A fun-filled “1,2,3, Riders Challenge” at Chantilly racecourse. Take a look behind the scenes of the racing world and support the racing stables. Rise to the challenge: 500m bicycle race and relay on a mechanical horse. Beat the Chantilly whipped cream and try to avoid it dripping on your head!

  • 8.00pm

    During this fun-filled day, a wide range of refreshments will be available on Chantilly racecourse. Take your pick from the catering stands, which offer something for all tastes: burgers, hot dogs, chips, pancakes, ice creams, cold drinks and more!

  • 9.30pm

    After a day full of racing action and free entertainment, Chantilly racecourse is putting on an outstanding party, with a concert until 11.30pm to round off the OH Racing! event in style!

Hop on the merry-go-round for a magical ride on our beautiful carrousel horses. A sure-fire hit with young racegoers, this attraction is free of charge and children can ride as many times as they like.

Grab a booklet and embark on a treasure hunt that takes you on a tour of the racecourse! With its racing-themed games, this mission requires all of your family’s investigation skills to solve the puzzle.

With our bouncy castles, your children can jump, run and roll to their hearts’ content! We pull out all the stops to provide your children with plenty of opportunities to play and relax at the racecourse.

HORSESHOE DECORATING

At our “Blacksmith” workshop, young apprentices are invited to let their creative juices flow. The budding artists can customise horseshoes with ribbons, glitter, ink stamps and many other surprises.
The children will sit at a table to decorate their horseshoes and can take their creation home with them.

 

GIANT COLOURING POSTER

On every Family Race Day, a giant horse-themed poster will be laid out for the children. Using colouring pencils, the children are invited to help bring this poster to life.

The racecourse, a playground for all ages!

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy between races: morpion, dominos and memory … A great way to revel in the fresh air at the racecourse with your family and friends.

A mouth-watering selection of refreshments

Discover our mouth-watering selection of refreshments at the “OH Racing!” event on Chantilly racecourse. Step into the food court, where you will find a selection of street food with something for all appetites, from burgers to grilled meats to pizzas to pancakes. For outstanding views of the course, head to the panoramic restaurant.

Sweet-toothed racegoers can indulge in some famous Chantilly whipped cream, showcased by the amazing “Confrérie des Chevaliers Fouetteurs”, who will host whipping demonstrations and more. Trueba are also coming to Chantilly racecourse with their delicious locally-made ice creams.

SECURITY INFORMATION

Please note that additional security checks may be carried out on race days.
We advise visitors not to bring rucksacks, sports bags, motorbike helmets, glass bottles or any large objects into the racecourse.
You may leave these items in the left luggage office.
Pushchairs are welcome inside the racecourse.
For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted inside the grounds.

A1 motorway, exit 7: Survilliers OR exit 8: Senlis-Chamant then follow signs to Chantilly.

PARKING

Parking available on site, subject to availability.
We recommend booking a parking space in advance on our ticketing website.

IMPORTANT: If you buy a parking ticket, please print it out so you can show it at the allocated entrance.
